I just had to “DO SOMETHING!” This website is here because of my frustration with the inane and uninformed discussions I hear about the 2024 election. Yes, I can and do give money, but I have not found a place to volunteer in the campaign.

I find that most people don’t want to think or discuss, they just want to react and the Trump supporters I know (there are many) are more interested in spewing Fox News propaganda and defending their emotional biases than they are in having genuine, thoughtful, logical discussions. I’m not interested in arguing just for arguments sake, if someone is convinced that Trump is their choice, if they're unpersuadable, I have no interest in wasting my time.

As a blind person, I can’t hand address post cards. I’d phone bank, but I’m afraid that my technology needs would consume campaign resources that are more urgently needed for bigger things. I’d be happy to door knock, but I’d need a partner.

So I write. Fortunately, my good friend Bill helps with drawings and I have a terrific web developer who puts it all together.

Will it matter in the end? Who knows, but if I can persuade a few people to cast ballots who might otherwise stay home or even better if I can convince the Trump supporters I know to vote against him the effort will have been worth it.
